JWood Raw Elementary School is being built in South Reno and is scheduled to open to students August 14th for the 2023-2024 school year. We join a tour and hear from teachers and staff seeing the space for the first time! JWood Raw Elementary School has a capacity for nearly 750 students and the two-story building includes 28 standard classrooms, a STEAM lab, 3 collaborative learning hubs, single point of entry, energy efficient design and native landscaping.
