MLB The Show 23 Franchise Mode Overview:
-The Seattle Mariners joined Major League Baseball as an expansion team in 1977. In the 46 years since, the Ms have seen very little success. Outside of tying the AL record with 110 wins in a season, there is nothing else to boast about. Losing seasons in 30 out of 46 seasons, and of course, being the only team in the MLB to never reach a World Series. We are here to change that. There's a new general manager at the helm and we have success on our mind. Coming off a 90 win campaign and a solid young core to build around led by Julio Rodriguez. J-Rod has a chance to create a legacy that rivals Mariner greats Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson, Ken Griffey Jr., and Alex Rodriguez. There are no more excuses. It's time to win a World Series title in Seattle.
