HOW KHABIB changed CONOR MCGREGOR'S whole life. Trash Talk Gone Wrong is about the lines Conor Mcgregor crossed with his words and actions. Along with the way he marketed the fight. Conversely, it covers how Khabib responded to those tactics during the fight while in the cage.
KHABIB vs MCGREGOR Khabib wanted to beat the guy, until he kept up with the trash talk. The talk became more personal and negative, so Khabib focused his energy on the fight and made him pay. That is WHY KHABIB DESTROYED CONOR!! at #ufc229
Let's be 100% honest. Real MMA Fans know Conor was once an Honorable fighter and 4 Time Champion. Those days are looong gone. The money, "Party Favors" and lifestyle have ruined the guy.
Some of the things in this video are tagged as MMA for the sport. The UFC refers to the organization. Khabib was the winner of this fight, his full name is #Khabib Nurmagomedov, although it is very hard to say, let along spell. The loser of this fight was Conor McGregor. After this fight, Conor was humbled tremendously, which is shown near the end of the video. Fighting is among the toughest sports in the world and it takes a lot of courage just to enter the cage. MMA is a global sport and UFC 229 was the most watched fight in the history of the UFC and MMA history.
Khabib is the opposite of what Conor is now. He is humble and respectful, while maintaining dignity.
As fans of MMA channels, we think the feedback from the creator is missing, so we are active in the comments. No disrespect intended to mmajunkie, mmaworld, mmanews, fullmountmma, thebestofmma, themmahour, etc
Conor McGregor tries to get in Khabib Nurmagomedov's head like he always does with opponents. It failed. Horribly. Khabib played the Reverse Card and was Stoic, calm and mostly unresponsive to Conor's attempts, making Conor look and feel foolish to himself and the world.
This pattern of Conor's was super effective on all previous opponents, most notably Jose Aldo, Jr. Conor KO'd Jose in the shocking time of 13 seconds.
Conor McGregor crossed many lines when he talked trash about Khabib's Wife, his Religion, Father, etc.
Khabib Nurmagomedov wasn't immune to the trash talk, but saved his energy until he could do something about it in the Octagon.
The biggest surprise of the fight was when Khabib Knocked Conor down with an Over Hand Right.
NO ONE expected THIS would happen! In the age-old Striker Vs. Grappler battle - Usually the Striker - Conor McGregor in this case - will only Strike and the Grappler - Khabib Nurmagomedov - will only Grapple. In this contest the
Conor McGregor impressed with his Wrestling Defense and Khabib Nurmagomedov surprised us all with his Striking. Especially with this punch!! #khabib #conormcgregor
Khabib drops Conor with a punch that nobody ever thought would happen. Khabib faked the takedown attempt, so Conor lowered his focus to defend the takedown. Khabib then came over the top with an OHR and put Conor down.
The Khabib and Conor beef started when Conor's friend, Artem Lobov, called Khabib names in defense of Conor.
When Khabib saw Artem, Khabib approached him with a large group and they had a physical altercation.
Channels like MMA Zone, The MMA Hour and MMA Guru all covered this fight.
It is still a big part of MMA news and UFC News sources to this day.
When Conor McGregor found out about this, Conor and his posse flew to New York to confront Khabib.
Khabib and his manager, Ali, along with other fighters and people from the Red Corners were on a bus to be transported to another location.
Well, we all know what happened then....
Conor, the dolly, etc., Khabib maintained that security would not let him exit the bus. I didn't hear Khabib say anything on the bus, but his Friend and Manager can be heard - VERY CLEARLY - trying to exit the bus when Conor McGregor and his crew showed up to the side of the bus to confront Khabib Nurmagomedov about the Artem Lobov incident.
The Press Conferences had a lot of interesting turns and the fight was actually better than most expected.
I don't think we will ever see the day when Khabib Nurmagomedov and Connor McGregor will ever be friendly to one another.
