Hi all. It's been a few months since I uploaded a video here, so firstly, I'd like to thank you all for sticking around until I got back here.
I recently upgraded my drone from a Mavic Air 2 to a Mavic 3 Classic and I wanted to post my first attempt with the new drone.
All of the following footage was shot in "Normal" mode, H264, and in MP4.
No editing apart from cutting the clips for this video. I used a Freewell ND16 filter to help get the correct exposure to have a shutter speed of 1/50th sec to match up with the frame rate of 25fps to get that cinematic motion blur. (I live in Australia, and we use PAL format, hence 25fps)
The video was shot in C4K25, "C" standing for "Cinematic" 4096x2160. Instead of the normal 4K size of 3840x2160.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did shooting it. The Mavic 3 Classic is an amazing drone to use, although, I could never complain about the quality of the 4K footage that I got from my Air 2.
If you have any questions about anything in the video, please feel free to ask in the comments section, and I'll try and answer as best as I can.
The location in in the Flinders Ranges just north of Hawker in South Australia, heading up towards Wilpena Pound National Park.
Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to fly from inside the park, but you can launch from outside the park and fly in if you wish. The Mavic 3 Classic was amazing to use, and that extended battery time over the Air 2 came in very handy, hence the extended length of this video.
