John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves, is a massive success story for modern action cinema. With a John Wick TV series (The Continental) and a John Wick spinoff movie (Ballerina), starring Ana de Armas both in the works, this John Wick video essay unpacks why all four chapters of this series have managed to be equally strong, where so many other franchises get worse with each passing instalment.
๐๏ธ *JOHN WICK: John Wick is a neo-noir action thriller media franchise starring Keanu Reeves as John Wick, a former hitman who is forced back into the criminal underworld he had previously abandoned.
