THE EUCHARIST IS THE SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE!! Do you also wish to go away? (Jn 6:67). This question by Jesus to the Apostles is important to understand. By asking it of them in a very direct way, Jesus is giving them complete freedom to choose. They are truly free to accept or reject it. It is this freedom that allows them to radically deepen their faith in Jesus. Through the Eucharist the Christian is made to share in the life of Christ. May we freely choose this life. Good day.
