How to install EW-7611ULB v2 Bluetooth Driver
Installation
1. Copy the driver source code to your system.
2. Build and install, change to the driver source folder
unzip EW-7611ULB_V2_Linux_Driver_1.0.0.0.zip
cd EW-7611ULB_V2_Linux_Driver_1.0.0.0
cd /BT/Linux/usb
3. Compile the driver
sudo make install
4. Change to the folder
cd /rtkbt-firmware/lib/firmware
5. Use commands “ls” & “ll” to show the two files:
6. Copy two files ( rtl8723du_fw & rtl8723du_config ) to your system folder “ /lib/firmware/ ”.
The two files are under the driver source code and the path:
/~/src/EW-7611ULB_V2_Linux_Driver_1.0.0.0/BT/Linux/rtkbt-firmware/lib/firmware
sudo cp rtl8723du_config /lib/firmware/
sudo cp rtl8723du_fw /lib/firmware/
7. Change to the folder “/lib/firmware/” and check if you have copied it.
cd /lib/firmware/
ls | grep rtl8723du
8. Insert the Realtek Bluetooth dongle into your system.
9. Check the Bluetooth interface status.
hciconfig –a
10. Enable Bluetooth Service
systemctl status bluetooth.service
systemctl enable bluetooth.service
systemctl status bluetooth.service
11. Start the “bluetoothctl” tool
sudo bluetoothctl
12. Pair first and connect your Bluetooth MAC address (No GUI)
scan on
pair Your Bluetooth Device MAC address
connect Your Bluetooth Device MAC address
