On Saturday, 4th March, 2023, two of Tyseley Locomotive Works’ GWR ‘Castle’ Class 4-6-0s double-headed an excursion train from Birmingham Snow Hill to the Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire. I caught the return train on video at Oxford and Banbury and this is the resultant footage. The locos in question were 7029 CLUN CASTLE and 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE and they were going like the proverbial clappers when I saw them at Oxford!
