Punjab: Amritpal Singh arrested, reports of him being on run false, claims Khalistani leader’s aide

 

Amritpal Singh, the Khalistani leader and ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief, has been arrested, claimed one of his aides on Sunday even as police said that he is on the run and a manhunt has been launched to nab him. Punjab Police, in a statement, said that Amritpal Singh against whom several criminal cases have been registered is on the run and a massive operation is on to nab him.
