OBJECTIVE MORALITY - What is it? Does it exist? And what sort of morality is best?

 

In this presentation - given February 19, 2023, the notion of “Objective Morality” - often relied upon by goddists to argue for their theological claims and make themselves appear to be oh-so-holier-than-thou – is considered and found to be hopelessly confused and misunderstood, even by secularists. To understand this it is necessary to consider what it means for something to be objective. It means, simply, “intersubjective.” We also look at the two basic principles of morality, the only two that have yet occurred to people, and which of them may come to hold sway and why.
