Israeli soldiers attack former Knesset speaker and disperse solidarity visitors in Huwwara

Former Knesset Speaker Avrom Borg was reportedly attacked by Israeli soldiers while visiting Huwwara in the northern West Bank, south of Nablus. During the incident grenades were thrown in the background, further aggravating an already chaotic situation. The army also refused access to hundreds of Israeli citizens who had come to show solidarity with the residents of Huwwara and dispersed them in a violent manner.
