Bitconnect was one of the biggest scams in the history of cryptocurrency. It also produced one of its largest memes as well. In 2017 Carlos Matos attended the first and only Bitconnect conference. He went on stage and hyped up the crowd by screaming "Bitconnect". Unfortunately for Carlos Bitconnect was just one big Ponzi scheme and he ended up losing over $250,000 in it.
