It's so good to be back exploring in Bali and checking out Seminyak, which is the very first place we traveled together when we came to Bali years ago! We've admittedly been to Indonesia quite a few times since those days of staying at U Paasha Seminyak, an awesome hotel in the heart of things, and over those years we've been leaning towards staying in other places more. We did want to see how things are in Seminyak these days though after hearing a few things online about it changing.
Our biggest question is about whether or not we really got to see the best of Seminyak? Like I said in the vlog, maybe we're missing something? Is there a better area of the beach? Better shopping somewhere? Less hustle and people offering us all kinds of illegal stuff?
I mean we got to see the nice villas and eat at an amazing hotel on the beach. We got the incredible coffee at Expat and tasty breakfast at Neon Palms but after that where do people go? What else should we have shown? In places like Canggu we know exactly where to go, so it's possible we're just missing the right areas but also, it's definitely a lot more salesy and run down than our last visit.
