Written By Dr Scott Masson on Tuesday, Jan 31, 2023 | 07:00 AM

Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal satirizes not only the Protestant landlords for 'eating' their Catholic serfs, he also implicitly satirizes the fact-value distinction by using the language of computation to make for an utterly appalling moral proposal, which is so powerful precisely because he discounts all moral considerations in his proposal. ❤️ If you find my channel helpful, become a channel member: www.youtube.com/c/DrScottMasson To support my channel and assist me in providing better content, please go here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?token=FZN9nCjKxWQNUnF_jsASfpjiVyRpj1H_mdGvxmYj9wIO-ZgrxM5vR1V-nTy3kKygP1gh10&fromUL=true&country.x=CA&locale.x=en_US
