Story :-
op was raised by a single mother and her family, with her aunt being her godmother. She was very close with her aunt for all of her life, even though aunt’s husband disliked how much time his wife spent at her sister’s house. OP’s mom had bad health and was in hospital alot, and once when her health was especially bad, she put her sister in charge of op’s trust fund. Op’s mom died when she was 16 and her aunt was nice at first and paid for an expensive funeral, but once it was over she began to charge op rent to stay with her, and sold her childhood home. OP is kicked out when she turns 17 and stays in a homeless shelter until a kind old woman lets her stay on her couch for the year. OP promises to pay the woman back for everything once she is 18 and has access to her trust fund, but when she turns 18 she discovers that she barely has any money left, and that her aunt has somehow stolen her inheritance and used it for a house renovation and cosmetic surgery. OP ends up waitressing in a terrible bar and living in awful conditions, starving until her aunt from her father’s side contacts her. OP moves in with her paternal grandparents and they help her to start law school. OP has graduated and is working successfully when her aunt contacts her begging for money. OP refuses and eventually decides to sue her aunt, but they manage to come to a settlement out of court. OP takes most of her aunt’s money and goes on about her life, but after a few months she gets a phone call from her cousin saying that her aunt has died of a heart attack.
