In this video, we show how to create EV spreads for competitive Pokemon that aren't simply 252/252/4. In this game, EV spreads can win games and tournaments especially if player difference is essentially the same. Whether it's closed or open sheets, the opponent does not know your EV spreads until the match is played, so it's important to use this to your advantage to try and steal a game just based off of the "information" factor.
A general formula that I like to follow that's shown in the video is based on 4 simple rules: Speed Tier first, Damage stat, Bulk, followed by Offensive/Defensive calcs AFTER you've tested a general spread. We go through 4 different Pokemon as examples that show how we use these 4 rules to create an EV spread.
