How to Mark, Buck, and Split a Tree Into Firewood

The last time you saw us we were bringing a black birch tree to the ground with @DudeRanchDIY and today we are back to mark, buck, and split that same tree into firewood! As Jake says, we're taking it from tree to trailer. Jake starts out by marking the felled tree into 16" rounds before cutting them in half to be transported into the woodyard. From there he and Jared get to bucking, splitting, and processing those rounds into fresh firewood. Be sure to stick around for more with Jake as he gives some great advice on how to start selling firewood, and we also take out some RuggedMade construction equipment to help him get those asphalt millings compacted! Check out Part 1 of this video where Jake climbed the tree before we took it down here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAqb0G_0C28&t=820s Also be sure to enter our December giveaway if you haven't yet. Winner will be selected on December 15th! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUS7MVyu9-Y&t=7s For more on RuggedMade products, check us out here: https://www.ruggedmade.com #firewood #logsplitter #homesteading
