Extended Darth Maul Vs Qui Gon Jinn Fight Deleted Scene

Did you know that Darth Maul almost made it onto Padme’s ship while fighting Qui Gon Jinn? This deleted scene from The Phantom Menace shows that the fight between Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jinn was actually intended to last a little bit longer than it did! As we can see here, Qui Gon jumps onto the ramp of the ship but Maul runs up and jumps to the ramp right behind him! The two of them duel it out for a bit longer until Qui Gon manages to push Maul off of the ramp! I think they should have kept this clip in the movie as it adds to the tension and it makes more sense as to why Qui Gon is more exhausted when he falls back into the ship. But let me know what you think of this in the comments and May the Force be with you!
