Within each person's unconscious mind lies their own "self", which is the highest possible form of development that one's ego can achieve. Upon achieving the "self", the person achieves a state that is akin to Godhood. This is why, in Jung's writings, he referred to Jesus as a symbol for the Self. People use Jesus as a symbol to guide their own journey towards their own "Jungian self". In the case of the girl... she fell into the water, which as I stated earlier in the video, symbolizes unconsciousness. Upon death, she sees the aged, mature version of herself (her "self") and merges with it. It's no wonder that soon after this happened, she is memorialized on the eye of God in the form of a statue. She attained that state.
