NEW UPGRADES for 2024: https://youtu.be/g6JIB4l1ARs The easiest, most efficient way to get from JFK into Manhattan is the AirTrain. Don't be intimidated: you'll be able to follow these directions easily! For some ideas on how to spend a few days in Manhattan, check out: https://www.jaredsdetours.com/non-touristy-nyc/ After getting off your plane at JFK, you'll see signs to follow in each of the terminals to the AirTrain platform. Most likely, you'll choose the track toward Jamaica Station. The AirTrain makes stops along the way at the airport, before traveling through Queens and arriving at Jamaica Station. The video shows how to use the ticket kiosks to buy you $8 to leave the AirTrain in Jamaica. From here, you can choose either the subway or the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to get into Manhattan (or Brooklyn). In this video, we'll take the railroad to Penn Station. You can also take the LIRR to Grand Central Station. ⏱ Video Timeline ⏱ 00:00 Intro to the AirTrain 00:15 Inside Terminal 4 00:28 The AirTrain Platform 00:48 Riding the AirTrain 01:10 Buying an AirTrain Ticket 01:30 Choosing the Subway or LI Railroad 01:45 Long Island Railroad to Penn Station 02:20 Penn Station 02:40 When *not* to Take the AirTrain FOLLOW JARED: Website: https://www.jaredsdetours.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dillinjay Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JaredTV
