There is something about the movie that makes it stand out from the rest of the movies in the franchise. If you take notice of Timon and Pumba throughout the story, you will notice that they don’t sing and are not present during any of the movie’s big musical numbers. In the first movie they are front and centre for the movie’s most well known song, Hakuna Matata, are present during the Can You Feel The Love Tonight, and also do the hula song to distract the hyenas. During The Lion King 1 and a half, they are around for various musical numbers due to being the main characters.
