So we have swathed down some hard red spring wheat with the John Deere D450 swather to test and make sure the swather was ready to go. (spoiler alert, it still isn't πŸ˜†) but now let's get these 40ft swaths picked up. The wheat is testing (green) tough which is different and more concerning for storing than (wet tough) wheat should be 14.5% moisture to be considered dry.
