Audiences were confused as Rila Fukushima received top billing, but no one seemed to be able to find her in the film. It turns out that her face was actually used as the model for the robotic Geisha faces. Yet, while the background Geisha were played by dancers and stuntwomen, Fukushima played the iconic red-robed Geisha.
