Chubby Mermaid: The Series! by Emezie Okorafor #mermaid #naruto #anime
Episode 17: “The Reverse Naruto”
Once again, the Chubby Mermaid (Ayane Shiun), the Catfish (Mina Kim), and the Fisherman (Bobby Sykes) find themselves thrust into adventure together! After converging on Professor Rose's Sailing Academy, the three take the various entrance exams and become official students of the sea!
Conveniently, the school operates in groups of three sailors, and Rose places the Chubby Mermaid, the Catfish, and the Fisherman together.
But, wait...2 girls and 1 boy? That's not how the usual anime grouping goes! If there's something Naruto and Pokemon taught us, it's that the magic shonen ratio is 2 boys and 1 girl! Can the world handle such blasphemy???
What adventures will this unholy trio encounter on their path to becoming masters of the sea? And, what enemies will they eventually cross ships with...
It’s a new series based on the short film “Chubby Mermaid” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSXpWrVmPxM)
The Queenfish (Ayane Shiun) is back for more seafaring adventures, along with the Catfish (Mina Kim) and the Fisherman (Bobby Sykes). She’s joined by a cast of colorful characters who all look vaguely familiar…
Fans of Porkchop ’n Flatscreen should feel right at home…in fact, the parallels between the two series might just give you some insight into your favorite PCFS characters…
