Easy method to import data from Excel to Tally Prime without any Coding. Free Excel Template File Stock Item Import without any programming language or any application It's very hard to Import Data from Excel to TallyPrime.no any experts for customization or purchase a third-party application ..no need any more!!!! So I am disclosing a very simple method to do this !! No Programming !! No more Application !! nothing Need .. if you have little knowledge in excel !!! I am Creating a Sample Tally data for demonstrating stock item import . while creating an Item I am going to input @ symbol infront and at last along with item name , item group and every specifications in master if possible .in the tally application folder we can find the file which we have exported. Open that file with notepad+ app. which is very easy to install from google.so you can install it from google just for edit purpose. I named the item as 'test' and click find button you can find it easly. so select from "TALLYMESSAGE" start tag till the end tag comes . copy the selected data to a new file and paste it . firstly we need to remove GUID variable data from this line. and secondly you can put further @ symbol in front and at last along with desired variable datas.. for eg.. I am going to add @ symbol infront and at last of 'OPENINGBALANCE' 'GODOWNNAME' and 'BATCHNAME' details the reason for giving @ symbol is to get it in separate columns in excel. so we have done almost.!! the final step in the notepad + is select all data , which we have edited and press control +J . to remove paragraph mark in the data !! so we can get data in a single line so.. your data is almost ready !! Now open your excel application and paste it to a sheet .. I I would like to past it to the second raw so I can put coloumn titles. I pasted the whole data into a single cell .. to make split text data to column wise go to data tab === text to columns === Delimited option== choose other option -- put @ symbol (this is why we input @ symbol infront and at last along with each variable data)== next ==finish now we received the splited data!! then add tittles for each columns . these columns contains our variable data .at last we need to (put together or concatenate excel Function) all the separated data columns into one. for that we use concatenate function so we made it .. ============================================ Stock Item Excel Template https://www.dropbox.com/s/39r39tgjbw8rth7/STOCK%20IMPORT.xlsx?dl=0
