In this video I show 5 @Elgato Stream Deck Plugin Actions to use when Live Streaming. Obviously there are many more, but I find these #StreamDeck actions useful before and during my livestreams.
1.) The Twitter plugin allows me to tweet out a link to my latest livestream.
Top tip... if you use https://www.youtube.com/takeonetech/live (replace my channel name with yours!) then that will always link to your latest live stream.
2.) The Audio Switcher plugin allows me to easily toggle between audio coming out of my external speakers vs headphones.
3.) The YouTube plugin allows me to setup things I want to drop into the chat in advance such as links to things I'm talking about in the live stream... then with the touch of a button it gets posted in the chat during the stream!
4.) I use the Clockworks plugin to give me the exact time including seconds displayed on my Stream Deck... I refer to this to ensure I go live on time!
5.) The "Action Bar" action in the Stream Deck plugin toggles a popup on screen to show me what actions are assigned to the 3 pedals on my Stream Deck pedal... useful to get that reminder sometimes when switching pedal profiles!!
