George R.R. Martin Official Announcement Reveals New Info About The Winds of Winter & HOTD!

Martin's most recent comments about HBO's new Game of Thrones prequel series; House of the Dragon, and the next book in his A Song of Ice and Fire saga: The Winds of Winter. On his NotABlog website, George R.R. Martin revealed he has now seen 9 out of the 10 episodes of House of the Dragon's first season. He also revealed which chapters he just finished, and the ones he's currently writing for the Winds of Winter! As you all know, House of the Dragon is HBO's new Game of Thrones prequel series, based on George R.R. Martin's "Fire and Blood." House of the Dragon is set roughly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. In this new series, the story of House Targaryen will be told. House of the Dragon chronicles what happened during the Dance of the Dragons. The series writer and co-creator is Ryan Condal, who will also be one of the showrunners, alongside Game of Thrones veteran director, Miguel Sapochnik.
