Turn Bendigo Rainbow on May 17 for IDAHOBIT

May 17th is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia. IDAHOBIT is a day to celebrate LGBTQIA+ people and recognise there is still work to do to end discrimination. This year, we want to Turn Bendigo Rainbow for the day. You, your school, your work or your sports club can get involved by wearing rainbow and decorating your space. Show your support by posting about it online with #idahobit and #TurnBendigoRainbow. Did you know homosexuality was only removed as a disease from the world health organisation 31 years ago? Among other countless victories we have come a long way, but there is still so much further to go to stamp out discrimination. Showing your support to the community and its allies means the world, and we would love to see a splash of rainbow across Bendigo on May 17th. You can dress up, decorate your business or workplace, post on social media with all the rainbows you can muster!
