Symbolic of everything their country stands for, flags are both deeply nostalgic and unflinchingly patriotic, so when your flag is constantly being mistaken for your next door neighbor's, it makes sense that you might want to change it. It is for this reason that, in 2015, New Zealand attempted to change their flag for the low, low cost of $26,000,000.
