- Western Harbour tunnel: is the first, dual three-lane road tunnel in Asia to be constructed using a submerged pipe. Its construction began in August 1993 and was opened in April 1997.
- Tsing Ma Bridge: is the largest suspension bridge that carries both road and rail traffic. this bridge was named after the 2 islands it connects - Tsing Yi and Ma Wan.
- Kap Shui Mun Bridge(KMSB): is part of the Lantau Link of Route 8. Also, it is one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the world that transports both road and railway traffic
