PM Modi cancels Ferozepur visit after farmers block roads

The prime minister was scheduled to address a rally later but turned back because of a road blockade by farmers. Farmers have been opposing the visit. Modi, who had landed at Bathinda's Bhaisiana Airforce station, is now heading back there and would soon leave for Delhi, officials said. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
