I recently reached one thousand subscribers and it's partly thanks to my Into the Spider-Verse video so I thought, what the better way to celebrate it than doing a special video, also in honor of No Way Home having just been released?
So here it is, a massive suite of all of the main themes of Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy (Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home), all composed by Michael Giacchino, with a special guest cameo of Silvestri's Avengers Theme.
Giacchino created a memorable collection of different thematic ideas that each have been developed in their own movie, with the main overarching theme for the titular character tying everything together. We have a couple of love themes (Liz and then MJ), themes for the different villains (Vulture, Mysterio and in the new movie a theme for the group of Villains as a whole) a new theme for Iron Man, a theme for Nick Fury, and in No Way Home a Responsibility / Loss Theme and a theme that seems to be associated with The Cure the three Spider-Men try to make to heal the villains. And the obviously Spidey's main theme, with its different sections and variations, and all of them make for a great trilogy of scores that very much stand on its own, and add a lot to the fun and drama of these movies.
In the video, I added titles indicating which theme is playing at every moment, to help you recognize them.
