Desperation could be a detriment to salary negotiation for immigrants. Recruiters can smell this and could be to your disadvantage. Salary negotiation is an important skill that immigrants need to learn. Never take the first offer! Yh I know, it's tricky but never do. I learnt from different blog posts and youtube videos on how to negotiate salary I would say the biggest challenge with migrating to Canada will be trying to settle in as soon as possible hence taking any offer that will give you the so called Canadian experience. Base salary isn't the only thing to negotiate, there's compensation and benefits which will really play into your compensation plan #movingtocanada #salarynegotiation
