Predicting Creep of Polycarbonate

Discussion about how different material model can predict the non-linear creep response of thermoplastics, specifically polycarbonate (PC). In the video I cover: linear viscoelasticity, linear elastic with strain-hardening creep, MISO plasticity with strain-hardening creep, the Bergstrom-Boyce (BB) model, and the PolyUMod TNV model. I will show that linear viscoelasticity in this case is not a good material model, and that the PolyUMod TNV model is the most accurate.
