Movie Love: Unbelievably smooth & energetic, & is sure to make you want to cut a rug - but don’t expect any old swing tune. The song breaks with contemporary music trends in a startling shift to create an unheard of & futuristic sound that’ll keep you boppin’ ‘til you drop, but it also tells a moving story of wanting love that’s like a movie. Woven within the remarkably pleasant melody is a story of 2 lovers amidst the backdrop of contemporary cinema or perhaps even the cinema of the future?
Lyrics:
Touching skin,
Kissing lips,
That’s romance,
With a script
Chasing love
That you see on the screen
Can’t live in the studio
So we try & dream
It’s not what you’re thinking of
It’s just that movie love
It’s not true
It’s only what’s brand new
(Movie love)
“It’s just what I need right now”
Or so you tell yourself
It’s not true
It’s just the lights on you
I wanna feel it
That movie love
I wanna live it
That movie love
(Craving what we don’t know
Shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close
But we’re never quite there,
Missing love by another light year)
I need to feel it (Ooh, feel it)
That movie love
I need to live it (Ooh, live it)
That movie love
(Craving what we don’t know
Shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close
But we’re never quite there,
Missing love by another light year)
(Ooh, feel it)
(Ooh, live it)
Your love has made me blind,
You’re like a spotlight,
All you do is shine,
(This doesn’t feel quite right)
I’m so lost in your eyes, (in your eyes)
You've got me so lost,
In your movie lies,
(Is it still worth the cost?)
I know it never lasts,
It’s just how we’ve been cast,
I need you
To not forget my cue
Dancing in the LEDs
You know just what I need,
On this set,
Is this real love yet?
I wanna feel it
That movie love
I wanna live it
Yeah, that movie love
Craving what we don’t know
Shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close
But we’re never quite there,
Missing love by another light year
I need to feel it (Ooh, feel it)
That movie love
I need to live it (Ooh, live it)
Yeah, that movie love
Craving what we don’t know
Shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close
But we’re never quite there,
Missing love by another light year
Drag out the scene,
With take after take after take,
Of the same old plot,
We’ve lusted & lost before
Drag out the scene,
With take after take after take,
Of the same old plot,
We’ve lusted & lost before
I wanna feel it
I wanna live it
I need to feel it (Ooh, feel it)
I need to live it (Ooh, live it)
Yeah, that movie love
I wanna feel it
(Craving what we don’t know, shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close)
I wanna live it
(But we’re never quite there, missing love by another light year)
I need to feel it
(Craving what we don’t know, shooting for the stars & we’re oh so close)
I need to live it
(But we’re never quite there, missing love by another light year)
I wanna feel it (Ooh, feel it)
(This doesn’t feel quite right)
I wanna live it (Ooh, live it)
(Is this still worth the cost?)
I need to feel it (Ooh, feel it)
(This doesn’t feel quite right)
I need to live it (Ooh, live it)
Yeah, that movie love
