New Turfgrass Varieties

The Florida-Friendly Landscaping (FFL) Professional Landscape Series provides free, science-based information on topics of interest to green industry professionals, landscape architects, and community association managers. This session covers the new landscape cultivars of St. Augustinegrass, an upcoming new zoysiagrass, and an update on the bahiagrass development program. Dr. Kevin Kenworthy presents "New Turfgrass Varieties." He is an assistant professor in the University of Florida Agronomy Department. He focuses on the improvement of turfgrass species used for home lawns, parks, highway right of ways, golf courses, and athletic fields.
