Bubble Bass | SpongeBob SquarePants. Bubble Bass is a SpongeBob SquarePants character that is an obese bass, as suggested by his name, who first appeared in the episode "Pickles." Bubble Bass was completely absent for nearly a decade, until he made a small cameo in the season 8 episode "Plankton's Good Eye" and officially returned to the series as a recurring character starting with the second half of season 9. Bubble Bass is unmannerly, arrogant and rude, in that he lied to SpongeBob about the pickles missing from his burger to destroy his confidence and get free food. Episodes: Pickles F.U.N.
