I am by no means a Louis Vuitton Authenticator. I simply made an expensive mistake and wanted to share the learning I had done afterwards. It was easy to see a lot of photos/videos online about the more obvious differences like the patterns, stitching...etc. Some of these are just hard to detect without seeing it in person or comparing them side by side. I tried to take this video in as high of quality as possible to show the differences!
I chose not to show things like the receipts since those can be easily faked. I’ve heard that people are often buying real bags and using that receipt with some edits to sell fakes. Do not take a real looking receipt as a way to validate the bag.
