Futurama is a 1999–2003 American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for Fox. It follows the adventures of 21st century idiot Philip J. Fry, who is cryogenically preserved for 1000 years until he is revived in the 31st century, where he finds work at an interplanetary delivery company alongside his one-eyed love-interest Leela and a robot named Bender. In the season 2 episode titled "The Problem With Popplers," the show brings up the morality of eating other living or intelligent creatures, in its own way, when Fry and the others discover a mysterious delicious thing that turns out to be someone's eggs.
