Memories of HST's through Retford.

 

In these days of Covid-19 lockdown, one of the few things we can safely do is remember! It doesn't seem real that it is now over a year since the last HST's worked scheduled services through Retford, so here is a look-back at the days of class 43's on ECML expresses through Retford. There is a surprising amount of variety with stock from Virgin, LNER, East Midlands Trains, Cross Country, Grand Central, Great Western (Hull Trains) and Scotrail, plus of course the New Measurement Train. It is a far cry from today's monotony of Hitachi Azumas and Paragons!
