I visited Spear America and picked up a set of CETMA Prana carbon fins with S-Wing foot pockets. Blake showed me how to mold the foot pockets to fit my feet better, then how to glue the CETMA blades into the pockets instead of drilling holes through the blades.
The comfort difference was huge. If your fins hurt, rub, or feel sloppy in the water, custom-molding the foot pockets may be one of the simplest upgrades you can make.
