ARIGAY FOLK DANCE Performed by Bignay NHS Danca Alma | SDO-VALENZEULA FOLK DANCE COMPETION The dance Arigay fondly interpreted by the local folks of Bacolod, Negros Occidental is a courtship dance imitating the movements of the chicken. A very lively and exciting dance that display the typical character of a Filipino flirting action and freedom of expression when courting. In this video, it was performed by BNHS Danca Alma which is the official dance troupe of Bignay National High School. they represent Congressional District I of Valenzuela in the "2019 Pansangay na Paligsahan ng Katutubong Sayaw" and bagged the Champion Title of the competition.
