On November 24th, City Journal contributing editor Victor Davis Hanson joined us for a bonus YLC discussion hosted by City Journal Editor Brian C. Anderson. Hanson is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, a professor emeritus of classics at California State University, the author of more than two dozen books (on topics ranging from ancient Greece to America’s current immigration crisis with Mexico), a frequent Fox News contributor, and a past winner of the Bradley Prize. He is also a raisin farmer, trapped (by virtue of the location of his farm) in Blue State California, despite his Red State sensibilities. His sympathy lies not with coasts or with elites, but with those overlooked citizens who decided the last election.
