Seen here is a ride on a R142A 4 train bound for New Lots Avenue. No this isn’t late service or a G.O., this is rush hour. During P.M. rush hours, select 4 trains run to New Lots Avenue during P.M. rush hour and then goes straight to the yard after service is finished. I was hoping to ride it from Woodlawn to New Lots Avenue, but instead I rode it from Bedford Park Blvd all the way to there. Please don’t mind the breathing , I was running to catch it since I was running a little late, plus it was raining as well so I had to be careful because of the inclement weather out there. I was lucky I made this train just before it came into the station. Note: 4 trains only go to New Lots Avenue making all local stops during late night service and replaces the 3 trains as it runs only in Manhattan. Please note: Even though subway service is normal again at this time, we still have to be social distant from each other, even when on the subway or the buses. However, the subway will still be closed from 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. So if you’re planning on riding the subway or the bus, wash your hands from home before leaving, maintain a social distance of six feet from others, wear a mask as you head out in public, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear some gloves when adjusting. Enjoy! *UPDATE: subway service is now 24 hours as of May 17,2021. Date taken: November 12, 2020
