The Mexican Science Day brings together German and Mexican scientists to present the results of significant research projects in health sciences. It also encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue with the scientific and academic community and students, which could generate new collaboration opportunities for associated groups strengthening the scientific relationship between Mexico and Germany. Opening messages by representatives of Embassy of Mexico in Germany, Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt), Helmholtz Association, German Research Foundation (DFG), and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Lectures by Prof. Dr. med. Aarón Borgonio from the Heart Centre of the University Clinic of Universität zu Köln, Prof. Dr. Maria Elena Torres-Padilla from the Institute of Epigenetics and Stem Cells of the Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren Centre of Munich, Dr. Marcel Prax from the Paul Ehrlich Institute and Dr. Karla Rubio from the Max Planck Society for Heart and Lung Research. Panel discussion moderated by Prof. Dr. med. Julieta Rojo, Embassy of Mexico.
