Mumbai| Republic TV founder and editor in chief, Arnab Goswami has been detained by Mumbai Police in the early hours of Wednesday. According to reports, the police officials entered his home. Goswami has alleged that some policemen also physically assaulted him. It is not yet confirmed why he has been detained. The Mumbai Police, however, recently was investigating TRP scam in which Republic TV was named.
