One of the funniest animals in the world

 

Orphaned babies: Maria and Joao are growing very fast. One was found near the dead body of its mom, the other in areas where there had been fires. Its mom probably died or escaped. They were brought to Criadouro Onca Pintada in the middle of July weighing about 3 kg. By the middle of September, they already weighed over 6 kg: Maria was 6.3 kg and Joao was 6.7 kg. They play together and, in this way, also learn how to fight and protect themselves. Until recently, they only raised one paw, leaning on the three others.
