Thank you Dr Been. I want to discuss a frequent comment that I am getting from others. One critic is that I did not know the medical history of the control group. This is true and therefore results in a selection bias. However, the bias was against me. Let me explain: I only treated high risk patients and most of them were older than 60. The control group had both high and low risk patients of all ages. Thus, my patient group was of sicker patients with higher mortality. Thanks.
