I fancied a change of scene & as tide times weren't looking favourable )at locations less than 4 hrs away ) I decided to find somewhere localish to shoot. I spent a week watching the weather forecasts for several spots , got up at 4am & headed out after one final check, it seemed the stars were aligning & I was giddy with excitement. As I neared my chosen location my heart sank , the forecast was right in so far as no cloud but there wasn't hint of the mist that had been promised.......and as I parked up I was convinced it was a waste of time as there wasn't a single other photographer about ,never a good sign at this location .
Boy was I glad I hung around , my patience was rewarded again with the most fantastic morning :-)
