They also focus on the development of a COVID-19 vaccine and what it means for IBD patients. Featured Panelists: Dr. Mark B. Loeb (MD) is an Infectious Disease physician and medical microbiologist. He is a Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Molecular Medicine and Health Research Methods Evidence and Impact at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. He holds the Michael DeGroote Chair in Infectious Diseases and serves as a Division Director of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Loeb has been conducting clinical trials on influenza vaccine for the past 15 years and has been funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, National Institute of Health, and the World Health Organization.
